Venice: Where and what to eat
Few things are better than finding a scenic spot, ordering a drink and enjoying the view. As long as you know where to go, Venice offers a great selection of outdoor cafes overlooking a square or the water. You will find restaurants renowned for their traditional dishes, for the most part fish specialties, and the quality of their service. Whatever your plans, be it dinner in a sophisticated restaurant, live music in a bar or just chatting with friends in a campo, you will find that Venice gives it that distinctive flavour, because here the atmosphere which reigns by night is truly unique. Here you can find number of bars and pubs with a rather special atmosphere. There are also restaurants where you can eat out late and some where you can also listen to live music. The fascination of choosing a hotel near Piazza San Marco or Rialto or with a view of the Canal Grande is undeniable, but... but it can be just as great an experience (and a bit less expensive) seeing the other Venice, just five minutes off the beaten tourist tracks.
