Getting There
The key destination for new arrivals in Venice is Piazzale Roma. Marco Polo Airport is linked to Piazzale Roma in Venice by ATVO buses, a 20-minute trip that passes by Mestre train station. The railway station, Stazione Lucia, is here, along with parking facilities and bus stops. This is as far as you can get with land transport, from here you need to use your feet, the vaporetti, or water-taxis.
Ryanair fly to Treviso Airport, 30km away. You need to get a coach to Venice - this travels to Mestre, Venice's mainland industrial zone, then onwards to Piazzale Roma.
